Just did an interior update on the G87 M2. We installed the @bimmerworld 4-point half cage along with a Recaro Pole Position ABE and Schroth 6-point Harness. The engine, suspension, alignment and brakes are currently all stock. Looking to keep it as close stock as possible and truly maximize the car's potential out of the box.

Closing out the year with a new PB of 1:50.26 in the G87 M2. Lots of room for improvement. Aside from a set of Nankang CRS, the car is all stock. Hoping to do sub 1:50 next year with minimal mods: a proper alignment and a racing seat.🤞🏼

First track day of the year. Setting baseline laptimes for the G87 M2. The car is bone stock. 1.52.29 was my best time today. Lots of room for improvement. The car can likely do sub 1:50 as is. Very excited for this platform.

I wanted a bolt-on muffler delete solution to give the car more volume during track days but still have the ability to switch back to the HKS mufflers for daily use.

@boxenstopp_automotive fabricated a single-exit muffler delete pipe utilizing the HKS mid-pipe. They also changed the HKS flanges to V-band clamps. Amazing welds!

The HEL Oil Cooler (Fast Road Version) for the GRY uses a Setrab ProLine STD 610 10 row cooler. Smaller than other oil cooler kits on the market but should be enough to keep oil temps at bay.

Recaro pole position and Schroth Profi II ASM 6-point harness finally installed on the GRY. The seat is directly mounted onto the seat base to ensure the least play/movement at the track. We added 2" spacers to get the height as close to OEM as possible. I prefer a higher seating position, contrary to the general consensus.

We reused my old Dodge Charger Planted seat base and fabricated new mounting brackets to match the GRY's seat base holes.

Just missing a resistor to clear the airbag warning light.

TSW Imatra (18x8.5 ET35) flow formed wheels on the stock 225 40r18 PS4s tires. Each wheel weighs about 17.8 lbs. Suprisingly lighter than the stock forged BBS wheels by ~1.5 lb yet 1/2 inch wider. Requires longer studs. Only got 5 turns on the stock wheel studs.
